Dr. Dianne Applegate
Meet Dr. Applegate
Dr. Dianne Applegate is a 1987 graduate of Loma Linda University Dental School. She was awarded the Woman in Dentistry Award in 1987 for her Academic accomplishments, contributions to Student Leadership, participation in Missionary services, and Dental Externship with the US Coast Guard. Dr. Applegate has continued to complete extensive continuing education in all aspects of general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
An avid traveler, she has visited many countries around the world. She adopted two children from China and has participated in several Missionary trips to Mexico, providing much needed dental care to the people there. Dr. Applegate has continued to be active in community leadership and volunteer organizations throughout her career. Recently she’s been providing free dental services through Multnomah County’s “Tooth Taxi” program for school-age children.
Dr. Applegate lives in Northeast Portland with her two daughters. The oldest graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in Design; the youngest attends the University of Oregon. Dr.Applegate and her family enjoy participating in school events, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
